Asters contributes to a major victory for Ukraine in the UK Supreme Court
Today the UK Supreme Court has handed down its judgment to send for a full public trial the legal proceedings initiated on behalf of Russia relating to the US$3 billion Eurobonds issued by Ukraine in December 2013.

Asters prevailed before the Grand Chamber of the Supreme Court that put an end to ex-owners' attempt to recover PrivatBank's shares
Asters has successfully defended interests of PrivatBank in the Supreme Court. On 15 February 2023, the Court delivered the final ruling, stopping the ex-owners' attempt to return PrivatBank, which was nationalized in 2016.

Asters acted as a Ukrainian counsel for JSC Ukrainian Railways in the successful restructurings of loan participation notes issued by Rail Capital Markets plc in the total amount of USD 895 million (one in relation to its USD 300 million 7.875%. loan participation notes due 2026 and another in relation to its USD 594.9 million 8.250% loan participation notes due 2024).
