Vitaliy Kulinich spoke at EBA webinar on AI Act

Asters' Senior Associate Vitaliy Kulinich spoke at the webinar "AI Act with cross-border effect: practical implications for business", held on 5 February 2026 and organised by the European Business Association (EBA).

During the event, Vitaliy provided a comprehensive overview of the key provisions of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act) and their implications for businesses in Ukraine and internationally. In particular, he outlined:

• which AI models and systems fall within the scope of the AI Act and the criteria for their classification
• when the regulation applies for developers, integrators of AI models and systems, and deployers of AI systems
• the key compliance obligations and procedures set out in the legislation
• the allocation of responsibilities between AI providers and deployers
• the penalties for non-compliance
• the governance and oversight framework for AI established at the EU level
