Inesa Letych moderated the IV Labour Law Forum of the UBA

On 17 December 2025, the Ukrainian Bar Association (UBA) arranged the IV Labour Law Forum. The event brought together lawyers, attorneys, in-house lawyers and HR specialists to discuss key legislative changes, search for practical solutions for employers and analyse current court practice.

Asters' Counsel and Chair of the UBA Labour Law Committee Inesa Letych moderated a panel discussion during which the following topics were addressed:

• how the new Labour Code will affect employer-employee relations
• the importance of cooperation between the Pension Fund and the State Labour Service in investigating and recording workplace accidents
• how to protect employees during a crisis
• the roles of the state and employers in employing people with disabilities
• whether trade unions can ensure labour guarantees and social rights for employees

Inesa noted the slow pace of labour law reform and emphasised the forum's role as a platform for professional discussion involving representatives of state authorities, business and the court system.
