Julia focuses on intellectual property, data protection, anti-corruption and other compliance matters. She advises clients on a variety of issues associated with the acquisition, licensing and assignment, as well as enforcement of IP rights including trademarks, copyright, patents etc.

In the field of anti-corruption and compliance, Julia deals with policy evaluation and development, internal investigations, risk identification and assessment, representation and defense.

Ms. Semeniy has deep expertise in litigation and other legal proceedings. She represents clients in courts, before the Antimonopoly Committee, Ukrainian Patent and Trademark Office, law-enforcement, customs and other governmental agencies.

advised Ecolab LLC, the world's leading provider of cleaning, food safety and health protection products and services for the hospitality, food-service, healthcare and industrial markets, on various intellectual property issues regarding trademark enforcement, domain names, and anti-cybersquatting;
advised Nissan Motor Ukraine on various IP issues, including patent enforcement; confidentiality and data protection;
advised multinational companies on anti-bribery aspects of their marketing activities, promotional events, cooperation with government, etc.;
developed and reviewed compliance policies for clients in media and entertainment, automotive, IT industries;

represented the Сar-Freshner Corporation in trademark infringement actions concerning the unlawful use of the client’s trademarks, i.e. the import and distribution of products that imitate the client's genuine tree-shaped air-fresheners;
advised KUKA AG, a robotics manufacturer, on its trademark prosecution and strategy, including in domain names and anti-cybersquatting issues, which resulted in the cessation of trademark and copyright infringement;
advised GSN Games, a computer games developer, in regard to IP and contractual issues in order to ensure that the client holds all the rights to the software and other IP developed at the client's request;
represented Zwak Unicum Nyrt. in a trademark cancellation action against the imitations of the client's trademarks related to the famous Hungarian herbal liqueur;
advised a multinational IT company on compliance issues, including those related to briberyand gifts;
advised various software development companies on the contractual structuring of the development process, as well as the protection and transfer of intellectual property rights;
assisted international healthcare company in relation to an investigation of the alleged fraud and corrupt misbehavior;
