Asters Partner Julia Semeniy has been appointed to INTA Internet Committee

Asters Partner Julia Semeniy has been approved as a member of the Internet Committee of the International Trademark Association (INTA), the global association of trademark owners and professionals dedicated to supporting trademarks and related intellectual property in order to protect consumers and to promote fair and effective commerce.

The INTA Internet Committee unites the world's leading experts specializing in protection of trademarks on the Internet. The committee will be headed by Paul McGrady, Partner at Winston & Strawn, a reputable international law firm.

The Committee will focus on the issues related to use of trademarks in the domain name system. Work in the Committee will include proposing policy recommendations to the Board, report and submission writing, project development and advocacy as required. Julia Semeniy's appointment to the INTA's Internet Committee is effective beginning 1 January 2018 and will conclude on 31 December 2019.
