Asters advises EBRD on providing a loan to Grain Alliance

Asters acts as a legal counsel to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in connection with its financing to Grain Alliance Group, a large Ukrainian agricultural producer, which cultivates over 55,000 hectares of land in Northern Ukraine.

The loan will support the Group's liquidity and help it withstand the Covid19-caused crisis. Therefore, it will help the company to preserve its capital expenditure plans, which were part of the original project between the EBRD and Grain Alliance approved in 2019. Asters has provided legal support to the EBRD in both transactions.

Asters’ banking and finance team advising on the project consisted of partner Iryna Pokanay, counsel Gabriel Aslanian and associates Inna Bondarenko and Viktoria Zagreba.
