Asters Secures Ukrainian Merger Clearance for USD 111 bln Acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery, Inc. by Paramount Skydance Corporation

Asters has advised Paramount Skydance Corporation on the Ukrainian merger control aspects of its acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery, Inc.

The transaction, valued at USD 111 billion, is one of the largest global media and entertainment deals in recent years, bringing together film studios, television networks and streaming businesses.

Asters handled all Ukrainian merger control matters related to the transaction, including the preparation and filing of the merger notification and liaison with the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine.

The Asters team included Sergey Glushchenko, Anastasiia Pozhar, Olga Bobrovska, Anastasiia Bukhanevych and Anastasiia Panchak, under the supervision of Igor Svechkar.
