  • global partnership models: how partnerships between investors and local developers are structured in leading markets – a comparison of corporate JVs and contractual JDAs, as well as the typical role of the local developer during the early development, RTB and commissioning (COD) stages.
  • legal and commercial aspects: key elements of successful JVs/JDAs, including risk allocation between partners, governance and decision-making mechanisms (reserved matters, control rights), as well as exit mechanisms. Speakers will also highlight important aspects of English law that are frequently applied in cross-border wind project agreements and advise on how to avoid common pitfalls in drafting documents.
  • lessons for Ukraine: how Ukrainian practice of involving local developers in the RTB and COD phases compares with international standards. Recommendations on aligning Ukrainian partnership models with global best practices to attract investment and ensure the successful implementation of projects.
