Roman Stepanenko spoke at the Ukrainian CFO Forum

Asters' Partner Roman Stepanenko moderated a panel session at the 23rd Ukrainian CFO Forum.

The event, held on 23-24 October 2025 in Kyiv and organised by FA Service, focused on how CFOs can transform their businesses amid uncertainty, technological breakthroughs and regulatory challenges. Over 700 experts discussed key topics related to strategic development, process optimisation for CFOs, tax risks, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, talent development etc.  

Roman Stepanenko moderated the discussion ‘Public-private partnership: financing reconstruction, risk distribution and new opportunities for business’ during which participants analysed:

• new legislation in the field of PPP and whether it creates transparent and stable conditions for investors
• project financing models provided for by this legislation to make them more attractive to banks and investors
• distribution of risks, including military and political, between the state and private investors, and which of these risks are actually covered by international financial institutions
• projects in the infrastructure and social sectors that have already been announced and open opportunities for business
