  • advised an ad hoc group of lenders on the successful restructuring of a USD 2.066 billion debt of DTEK, the largest private, vertically integrated energy company in Ukraine;

  • advised IFC in connection with EUR 30 million loan to Ukrgasbank convertible into its shares, as the bank seeks to boost financing of sustainable energy and energy-efficient projects, including those developed by small and medium enterprises; 
  • advised the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) in connection with its EUR 10 million financing to Novopecherska School, a leading private education institution in Kyiv;
  • advised the IFC and EBRD in a number of secured loan facilities provided to Ukrainian companies in various sectors for a total value exceeding 2 billion USD, including advice to the EBRD in connection with a capital increase of UkrSibbank by 3.29 billion UAH, as well as advice to the IFC on up to a 100 million USD loan to Nibulon, one of the largest Ukrainian grain and oilseeds originators and exporters;
  • advised ViDi Group companies, one of the largest car dealers on the Ukrainian market, in connection with the financial restructuring of its debt to JSC Oschadbank, implemented in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Financial Restructuring";
  • advised the China Development Bank (CDB) in connection with a number of agreements on its long-term strategic partnership with Ukrtelecom (a leading Ukrainian national telecommunications operator) and Huawei Technologies (one of the largest Chinese networking and telecommunication equipment and service companies) At the first stage of the long-term partnership, Ukrtelecom expects to receive a credit from the CDB of 50 million USD;

  • advised Barclays Capital, Citigroup and SACE on a 344 million USD syndicated loan facility for financing the Dnipropetrovsk steel mill project sponsored by Interpipe;
  • advised Société Généralе and ING Bank N.V. on three syndicated loans to the subsidiary of Industrial Union of Donbass totaling 106 million EUR;
  • advised ING Bank N.V. in connection with a 20 million USD pre-export finance facility to Grain Trading Company, part of the Cyprus-based Allseeds Group and a 50 million USD sunflower pre-export finance facility to Myronivskiy Hliboproduct Group, one of the largest agro-industrial companies in Ukraine;
  • advised Swedbank on a 30 million USD loan facility to TAS-Kommerzbank;
  • advised Coal Energy S.A., a Luxemburg-based holding which runs ten coal mines, and recycling and processing plants in Ukraine, in connection with 70 million USD financing provided by the EBRD;
  • advised Nederlandse Financierings-Maatschappij voor Ontwikkelingslanden N.V. on a 10 million USD secured loan facility to VABank;
  • advised Česká exportní banka on a number of secured loan facilities to Ukrainian companies including major glass plants, among which there was financing for a total amount of approximately 70 million USD provided to Volnogorskoe Steklo Ltd;
  • advised Expobank CZ a.s. (formerly LBBW Bank CZ a.s.), a leading Czech bank, in connection with providing a 21.25 million USD secured loan to Volnogorskoe Steklo Ltd, a major Ukrainian glass producer;
  • advised Vseobecna Uverova Banka on the approximately 10 million EUR secured loan facilities provided to Dneproshina, Ukraine's largest manufacturer of tires for farming equipment and trucks;
  • advised Deutsche Bank AG on two loans to Ukreximbank for a total value of 125 million USD;
  • advised Corporation Industrial Union of Donbass on 200 million USD and 240 million PLN secured financing provided by Polish banks to the Polish subsidiaries of the Corporation Industrial Union of Donbass;
  • advised Morgan Stanley and ABN AMRO Bank N.V. in a 250 million USD Eurobond issue by Myronivskiy Hliboprodukt;
  • advised Citigroup and Standard Bank in a 100 million USD Eurobond offering by Forum Bank;
  • advised Standard Bank Plc and BNP Paribas in a 100 million USD Eurobond offering by Bank Pivdennyi;
