Taras Kyslyy, Counsel at Asters, has been elected a Co-Chair of the Intellectual Property Rights Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine (ACC), a leading association of international and domestic businesses operating in Ukraine. Co-Chairing will be conducted by Taras in 2019 together with Alexander Kozyriev (Legal Counsel and Compliance Officer at Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals) and Kateryna Oliinyk (Partner at Arzinger).
The Chamber's Intellectual Property Rights Committee actively interacts with Ukrainian state authorities on various legal and business matters and serves as a discussion, consulting and drafting platform. Its mission is to contribute to development of comprehensive legal and institutional frameworks related to the issues of intellectual property rights protection and enforcement as well as to promote innovations and creativity in Ukraine.
