Yaroslav Petrov reelected as a Board member of the Ukrainian Arbitration Association

Asters Partner Yaroslav Petrov has been reelected as a Board Member of the Ukrainian Arbitration Association (UAA), a leading professional organization uniting key international arbitration experts in Ukraine. The UAA confirmed the results of e-voting held at its General Meeting on November 19, 2018. The Board consists of 8 representatives, elected every three years among members of the Association. 

Yaroslav Petrov is widely regarded as a leading arbitration practitioner in Ukraine. He is recommended by the prestigious Who's Who Legal: Arbitration, The Best Lawyers, Expert Guides and other reputable legal directories. 

As part of his social activities Yaroslav Petrov is Regional representative for Ukraine at the LCIA Young International Arbitration Group, member of the ICDR Young & International, member of the Council of the Ukrainian Bar Association ADR Committee, and national reporter for Kluwer Arbitration and World Arbitration Reporter. 

The Ukrainian Arbitration Association is a non-profit NGO that brings together lawyers, regardless of their belonging to a particular jurisdiction, who are professionally engaged in the international arbitration. The main objectives of the Association are to promote Ukraine and Kyiv in particular as a venue for international arbitration and to strengthen the cooperation with arbitration specialists from around the world.
