Asters is pleased to announce the promotion of Senior Associate Olena Kozhokar to Counsel in the Intellectual Property team, effective 1 January 2026.
Olena's practice focuses on IP rights enforcement, data protection, and advertising matters. She also advises on Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) compliance and internal investigations issues.
Since joining Asters in 2011, she has gained experience in licensing and assignment matters, including complex transactions involving IP rights, representation before the Ukrainian IP Office and customs authorities, and in trademark and patent disputes.
Olena has acted in a number of high-profile matters for leading domestic and foreign companies operating in Ukraine across multiple industries, with a particular focus on pharmaceuticals and healthcare, alongside agriculture, banking, communications and media, defence, and IT.
