Olena Kozhokar — IAPP-certified data protection expert (CIPP/E)

Asters' Counsel Olena Kozhokar has obtained the Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) international credential from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).

This qualification confirms her knowledge of European data protection legislation, in particular the GDPR, and requirements to cross-border data transfers between the EU, the US and other jurisdictions. Such expertise will be valuable for businesses operating simultaneously in Ukraine and the EU or preparing to integrate into the European market.

She has also become a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals, the world’s largest non-profit organisation bringing together data protection professionals.
