Asters in Partnership with Dragon Capital Conducts Master Class on Issuance of Eurobonds

On 24 February 2011 Asters, in partnership with the investment company Dragon Capital, conducted a master class for members of the Students' League of the Ukrainian Bar Association (UBA) called "Procurement of Lending Funds by Ukrainian Companies in International Financial Markets. Issuance of Eurobonds". A lineup of the event's speakers included Asters' senior associate Leonid Antonenko and associate Oleksiy Demyanenko, and Dragon Capital's specialist of the department of investment and banking services Vladyslav Verchenko.

During the event, the experts expounded about specifics of different schemes of issuing Eurobonds being applied by Ukrainian companies, as well as shared their own experience in providing legal support of such projects. Participants of the master class discussed possible ways of improving the legislation on issuance of Eurobonds and also the best practices in this area.
