ArtAsters hosts IT'S TIME exhibition by renowned Ukrainian artist Oleksandr Melnyk
On 2 October 2025, Asters and the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC) held a reception opening the new art exhibition IT'S TIME within the long-standing project ArtAsters. This exhibition features the extraordinary artworks of Oleksandr Melnyk, a celebrated Ukrainian artist renowned for his mosaics, frescoes, murals and other diverse artistic creations.
His works connect Ukraine's past, present and future in the artist's unrepeatable style and emotion, a mix of pain and healing. Despite of Ukraine's often tragic history and extremely painful present so skilfully shown on the artist's canvases he believes in the better future symbolised by his signature stylish and multi-coloured flowers asters so nicely linguistically and philosophically fitting in the ArtAsters concept: the full of life flowers are a powerful symbol of rebirth, resilience, and the transformative power of art as a therapy.

Armen Khachaturyan in his welcome speech stated:
"Is is a true honour to present at Arsters an exhibition of the prominent Ukrainian artist Oleksandr Melnyk whose artworks materialise the spirit and genetic code of Ukrainians tracing from the ancient times to the future. The artist's message is clear: the current generation may not betray predecessors who look from the past with hope and belief. ArtAsters is Asters' CSR project aimed at the support and popularization of Ukrainian contemporary art. Launched in 2009, the project is designed to benefit Ukrainian artists and create additional opportunities to display their works in a gallery-like office space for Asters' employees, clients and guests.
The U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC) is a not-for-profit business association, established in 1995 and headquartered in Washington, DC. USUBC represents the interests of the U.S. businesses active in Ukraine and the Ukrainian businesses active in the U.S. markets. USUBC's main mission is promoting bilateral trade and investment through regular interaction between business and political leaders in the United States and Ukraine.
