  • Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan UK LLP, lead counsel acting for the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, in connection with court proceedings in the High Court of Justice in London commenced by the Trustee, The Law Debenture Trust Corporation, against Ukraine regarding its alleged debt under 3 billion USD bonds purportedly issued by Ukraine in 2013 and 100% taken up by the Russian Federation, and assisting in Ukraine's appeal against the summary judgment of the High Court in these proceedings. Asters is acting as the local Ukrainian counsel in this matter.
  • Group DF in a series of corporate disputes against OJSC "Uralkalii" with regard to the shares of PJSC "Azot" (Cherkassy).
  • Swedbank in a series of disputes with its borrowers regarding the collection of large outstanding debts totalling over 100 million USD, their recovery against mortgaged property.
  • VimpelCom, a leading international telecommunications holding and a parent of the leading Ukrainian mobile telecom operator Kyivstar, on USD 2.2 billion Eurobond issue by its subsidiary VimpelCom Holdings B.V.
  • ED & F Man Holdings, a major global supplier of food, feeds, and biofuels, on operations of sugar production facilities in Ukraine, including associated M&A, corporate, regulatory, and customs law issues, including legal support regarding its tolling transaction (processing of foreign goods on Ukrainian facilities) covering all aspects of the deal, as well as advising regarding export of agricultural goods from Ukraine and its import to the European Union with use of all available tariff rate quotas under the DCFTA between Ukraine and the EU.
