Daryna focuses on cross-border litigation and international arbitration.
She has over 10 years of professional experience, which includes advising local and international clients in commercial and investment arbitrations under ICSID, UNCITRAL, ICC, LCIA, VIAC, FOSFA, and ICAC at the UCCI Arbitration Rules. She has advised clients on complex cross-border litigations, involving jurisdictions such as the UK, the BVI, Cyprus, Jersey, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Ukraine. Daryna has solid experience in post-M&A disputes and fraud investigations.
Daryna has also advised the State of Ukraine and state-owned companies in investor-state arbitrations and international commercial arbitrations. Her recent experience includes investor state-arbitrations against the Russian Federation related to the protection of investments in Crimea.

- Ukraine in an ICSID case brought by Misen Enterprises AB v. Ukraine (ICSID Case No. ARB/21/15). Asters is acting as the local Ukrainian counsel in this matter.
- JSC CB "PrivatBank" at a quantum stage of a bilateral investment treaty arbitration claim against the Russian Federation with respect to the bank's investments in Crimea (PCA Case No. 2015-21). Asters is acting as the local Ukrainian counsel in this matter.
- Ukraine in ABH Holdings S.A. v. Ukraine case (ICSID Case No. ARB/24/1). Asters is acting as the local Ukrainian counsel in this matter.

- Ministry of Finance of Ukraine in connection with the court proceedings commenced by the Trustee, The Law Debenture Trust Corporation, against Ukraine regarding its alleged debt under 3 billion USD bonds purportedly issued by Ukraine in 2013 and 100% taken up by the Russian Federation. Asters is acting as the local Ukrainian counsel in this matter.
- JSC CB "PrivatBank" in landmark litigation against its former owners in the UK
International commercial arbitration:
- a minority shareholder of a large Ukrainian agricultural holding in an ICC arbitration commenced by a subsidiary of a sovereign wealth fund in connection with a post-M&A dispute
- a group of BVI companies in a LCIA arbitration in connection with a post-M&A dispute related to the sale of one of the largest agricultural holdings in Ukraine
- an investor in the energy project in Georgia in a mediation and a subsequent ICC arbitration against a leading international engineering and project management consultancy firm
- a global commodity trader in a FOSFA arbitration in connection with a dispute arising out of a contract for the delivery of sunflower oil that was not fulfilled due to Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022
- an international energy company in an ICAC arbitration in connection with a dispute which arose out of the power plant construction contract
