Asters was announced the Energy Law Firm of the Year while Asters' Partner Igor Svechkar got the Best Lawyer in Competition & Antitrust award at the annual Legal Awards ceremony held by Legal Practice weekly in the Fairmont Hotel in Kyiv on 7 June 2019.
Asters as the firm and its partners individually were shortlisted in 22 nominations. In particular, Asters was nominated as the Law Firm of the Year in Corporate, M&A, Competition & Antitrust, IP, Banking & Finance, Debt Restructuring, Litigation, White-Collar Crime, Arbitration, Family Law, Transport, International Trade, and as Pro Bono Law Firm of the Year.
Asters' Partner Iryna Pokanay was shortlisted as the Best Lawyer in Banking & Finance and Debt Restructuring, Julia Semeniy – as the Best Lawyer in IP, Constantin Solyar – as the Best Lawyer in Tax Consulting, Sergiy Grebenyuk – as the Best Lawyer in White-Collar Crime, Markiyan Kliuchkovskyi – as the Best Lawyer in Arbitration, and Yaroslav Petrov – as the Best Lawyer in Energy.
