Yaroslav Petrov represents Asters at the international conferences dedicated to investment in Ukrainian mining and dispute resolution in the CIS

Donetsk, 8 September 2010, International forum MININNG: Innovation in the Mining Industry was attended by Asters' Associate Yaroslav Petrov. Being a legal advisor to a number of companies in mining and metallurgical industries Asters' seized this opportunity to present the firm's expertise at the forum.

Mr. Petrov commented: "Participation and the opportunity to speak at the event was a wonderful occasion to share with the management of Ukrainian mining companies certain aspects of bringing investments to the mining industry of Ukraine, mainly using the structure of private-public partnerships and IPOs. It is especially satisfying to see such an important event happening in my home region."

Yaroslav Petrov also represented Asters at two important legal community events held in Moscow. On 14 September, 2010, the Cross-Border Dispute Resolution: The Perspectives for Russia and the CIS conference was organized by the American Bar Association's Section of International Law. As a CIS based company Asters had a wide array of interesting experience to share with colleagues regarding the current legal issues discussed at the conference: judicial assistance and enforcement proceedings, international asset recovery, business, and corporate raiding.

On 15 September 2010, Moscow hosted a seminar on Arbitration on the Edge of the Rules. When Does a Clever Procedural Tactic Become an Abuse, organized by the ICDR Young & International. Asters?пїЅregularly assists clients in matters regarding enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitration awards in Ukraine and Mr. Petrov had a chance to discuss the firm's arbitration experience with the audience.
