International Financial Law Review 1000 recommends Asters in its 2016 edition

International Financial Law Review 1000 (IFLR1000) 2016 edition significantly praises Asters' Banking & Finance, M&A and Energy and Infrastructure practices, thus proving once more the Firm's strong performance over recent years. The ranking names Asters' Managing Partner Oleksiy Didkovskiy, Senior Partner Armen Khachaturyan, partners Iryna Pokanay, Roman Kostenko, Tamara Lukanina and Oleksiy Demyanenko among the leading lawyers in Ukraine and praises counsel Yaroslav Petrov as a rising star.

According to the survey, Asters is described as "an experienced independent Ukrainian firm". The guide also emphasizes that the clients who worked with the firm "highlighted Asters as an organized, multi-functional team, friendly and warm with perfect legal ethics".

The publication indicates that Asters has a longstanding relationship with the most influential development banks, which has ensured that it maintains a steady stream of lending mandates. One of the largest loan deals Asters worked on recently was a USD 175 million facility for food distributor, Myronivsky Hliboproduct. Iryna Pokanay advised the IFC on what was the largest investment in Ukraine since 2008 for this international financial institution.

IFLR1000 2016 underlines that Asters is experienced in all types of energy projects - oil and gas, renewable and shale - and environmental regulation and has experience advising on large domestic transport projects. “Contact is fast, open and straight. They are open-minded and make good suggestions,” is the feedback about Asters of one client from an energy company.
