ArtAsters presents Yuriy Sivirin's Mind Games exhibition

On 20 June 2019 Asters jointly with the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC) held a reception within its ArtAsters project opening the exhibition of Yuriy Sivirin, a well-known Kyiv-based contemporary artist.

In his introductory comments at the opening ceremony Asters' Senior Partner Armen Khachaturyan pointed out: "ArtAsters' utmost goal is presenting Ukrainian art in all of its diversity. Yuriy Sivirin is the youngest of all ArtAsters' artists and his works fit perfectly well into the project's concept. Contemporary art does not have limits of expression and Yuriy proves this in each of his artworks. He plays with the images of classic art of the past incorporating them in the todays' realm with an effect of cultural time machine. He is looking for new senses in the visual art as we all do in our everyday lives. That is why his search results are interesting for many. I would like to thank ArtAsters' co-host the USUBC and Bereznitsky Art Foundation for their invaluable support in organizing this exhibition."
Morgan Williams, USUBC's President, indicated that "This summer marks the 10th anniversary of ArtAsters project presenting the masterpieces of Ukrainian culture to business community. It is our great pleasure to provide ArtAsters space to a new generation of Ukrainian contemporary artists represented so nicely by Yuriy Sivirin. As true art is always thought-provoking and often controversial the Mind Games is a good evidence that Yuriy Sivirin's artworks meet both criteria."

The event was traditionally held in Asters' office with near a hundred guests attending, including business managers, governmental officers, professionals, diplomats, and public figures.
