Yaroslav Petrov and Anna Tkachova have been included in the UAA List of Arbitrators

Asters Partner Yaroslav Petrov and Counsel Anna Tkachova have been included in the third edition of the List of Arbitrators released on March 2023 by the Ukrainian Arbitration Association (UAA). The List of Arbitrators helps to find an expert suitable to sit in Ukraine-related international arbitrations.

Yaroslav Petrov has a significant experience in international arbitration. He represents the interests of energy companies and foreign investors operating in Ukraine. Yaroslav Petrov is a member of the roster of experts of the Energy Community Secretariat, Co-Chair of the Renewables Committee at the American Chambers of Commerce in Ukraine, Co-chair of the Fuel & Energy Committee of the European Business Association. His expertise is proved by the international legal rankings — Chambers & Partners (Europe), The Legal500 EMEA, IFLR1000, Best Lawyers.

Anna Tkachova has over 10 years of experience in complex cross-border litigations and international arbitration, including commercial and investor-state disputes. She has experience in arbitrations under LCIA, ICSID, ICC and UNCITRAL rules. She has also assisted in cross-border litigation before the English High Court and the Appellate Court and in other foreign proceedings, including in the US, Israel, Cyprus, Switzerland and Germany. Anna has also represented the Ukrainian government and state-owned companies in investor-state arbitrations.

The Ukrainian Arbitration Association (UAA) is a non-profit NGO that brings together lawyers who are professionally engaged or interested in international arbitration, regardless of their belonging to a particular jurisdiction. It includes around 120 members from 11 jurisdictions.
