On 3 November 2020, Alex Milovanov, Legal Manager for Ukraine, Armenia and Moldova at Coca-Cola HBC, held a lecture on parallel import in EU and Ukraine kicking off the new 15th season at EBA-Asters Legal Development Program (EBA-Asters Legal School). This project is a unique free of charge platform for Ukrainian legal practitioners sharing experience and best practices to secure legal support and protection of business.
All the lectures in this season will be delivered online via Zoom video conferencing platform with the possibility for participants to join the discussion and ask questions.
The School's agenda includes 6 modules on the most pressing Ukrainian legal issues in business, such us CFC, BEPS and economic substance requirements (the lecture will be delivered by Artem Saprykin (Head of Legal at Roshen), as well as challenges in negotiations (lecturer: Oleksii Reznikov, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories). Also within the Legal School's program, Asters Partner Sergiy Grebenyuk and Counsel Orest Stasiuk will talk about law enforcement and business security in the new realities. Asters Counsel Inesa Letych will hold a lecture on the regulation of remote work and Asters Partner Alexey Pustovit and Counsel Olesia Kryvetska will analyze the fragile balance of interests in trade remedies.
