Orest Stasiuk is a re-elected Co-Chair of the Compliance Club of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine
Asters' Counsel Orest Stasiuk has been re-elected as a Co-Chair of the Compliance Club of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine for the next year. He previously held this position for several years and actively contributed to the Club's initiatives, in particular improving legislation and organizing events on topical topics for the compliance community.
Commenting on his election, Orest said: ‘I am grateful to everyone who supported my candidature and once again expressed their trust during the voting process. I plan to continue working on the Club's initiatives to address important issues and discuss hot topics in the field of compliance in Ukraine. A separate area of activity within the Club will also be a participation in drafting responses, positions and proposals on key regulatory changes affecting the compliance community.’
Orest Stasiuk has over 15 years of experience in criminal law, internal investigations, anti-corruption compliance and criminal cases with an international element. He advises Ukrainian and international companies on white-collar crime issues, compliance with anti-corruption and sanctions legislation, support of internal investigations, business security issues and protection against raider attacks. He is an accredited TRACE Anti-Bribery Specialist with an LL.M. degree from the University of Washington School of Law (USA). His expertise is recognised by international legal rankings The Legal500 EMEA, Chambers Europe, Best Lawyers.
