On 2 April 2025, Asters and the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC) presented SYNCHRO exhibition of the prominent Ukrainian photographer Igor Gaidai, a welcome-back solo display of the new and early photo masterpieces since his first ArtAsters performance over six years ago.
Igor Gaidai’s artworks embrace various genres from portraits to urban landscapes and conceptual photography, blending elements of cultural narratives with contemporary themes. His photographs have been exhibited widely and are recognised for their unique perspective and artistic depth.
This time with his SYNCHRO approach, the photo master surprised by resolving the new task of catching time, looking at it from the different viewpoints, and the outcome turned out to be mesmerizing.
The showcase also included several subprojects, such as the "Bread of War", a manifesto to the world about the hundreds of thousands of tonnes of grain destroyed during the ongoing war. The photographer interprets this as a symbol of the Ukrainian identity, that the Russians are trying to erase.
