Asters signed Ukraine Business Compact 2023, principles for Ukraine's long-term sustainable economic recovery. The main goal of the Ukraine Business Compact 2023 is to create an ecosystem for Ukraine's recovery. By becoming a signatory, the company commits to adhering to the main principles:
- invest and operate sustainably, accelerating the green transition and inclusive growth in line with international corporate practices
- act responsibly and strengthen responsible business practices under international standards, including compliance with laws, support and observance of human rights, fair and inclusive practices, and prevention of corruption
- implement the best practices in corporate governance and work to identify areas where the signatories and Ukrainian businesses can share opportunities and promote the best management practices on a mutually beneficial basis
- comply with all laws and regulations on sanctions
Ukrainian companies signed the principles on 13 June 2023 during the UN Global Compact Ukraine event "From Principles to Action: Towards the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2023" in Kyiv. The official presentation of the principles and the list of signatories took place on 21-22 June 2023 in London at the annual Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC 2023).
