Asters Presents Opportunities for Raising Capital on the Warsaw Stock Exchange at the 2012 Ukrainian Investment Salon

Asters together with Baker Tilly Ukraine and the Warsaw Stock Exchange acted as a general partner of the Second Ukrainian Investment Salon, an informal meeting bringing together key international capital market players and Ukrainian companies seeking capital on the international markets. The Salon organized by Avantazh Capital Investment Group and Communications Group PRT was held at the end of April in Kharkiv.

Counsel Dmytro Marichev and associate Oleksiy Demyanenko made a presentation entitled "Raising Equity Finance on the Warsaw Stock Exchange" for the Salon’s participants. The presentation was based on the firm’s experience: Asters is an official IPO Partner of the Warsaw Stock Exchange, the largest stock exchange in Central and Eastern Europe and the most popular market for Ukrainian equity issuers. The firm currently advises AzovAgri PLC and EastUkrAgro Public Limited on the private placement of their shares on NewConnect, Warsaw Stock Exchange's Alternative Market.

Investment Salons are attended by a large number of companies in agribusiness, IT and food industry, potential investors as well as representatives of investment banks and private equity funds. The program of the event included presentations on corporate investment strategies, master classes, and a block of business meetings to discuss various ways of gaining access to international capital markets for Ukrainian companies.
