Asters' Partners Receive High Accolades in Who's Who Legal: CIS 2010

Who's Who Legal: CIS 2010 identified Asters' partners as leading experts in various areas of business law. Nominees have been selected based upon comprehensive independent survey among general counsel and private practice lawyers worldwide.

Managing partner Oleksiy Didkovskiy is recognized as a "highly experienced professional who has been involved in a number of acquisitions, including the takeover of Poltava Diamond Plant by Element Six from the De Beers Group" in the M&A practice and as a "highly skilful lawyer" in the Project Finance.

The independent research recommends Armen Khachaturyan, Senior Partner and Head of Banking, Finance and Securities Practice, in four practice areas – Banking and Finance, Capital Markets, M&A, and Management Labour and Employment. Mr. Khachaturyan is named "a world class specialist in Ukraine who advises financial groups at a managerial level" and who "advises clients as Morgan Stanley, Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein and UBS Investment Bank".

Asters' Partner Igor Svechkar, who heads Antitrust and Competition Practice Group, received high recommendations in the Competition practice for "having enviable track record that includes acting for Allianz, Barclays, Coca-Cola and Nokia Corporation in relation to merger filings with the AMCU, as well as advising Philip Morris, Walt Disney and Chevron on competition compliance, and Nissan and Ansell on unfair competition matters".
