The Focus magazine, one of Ukraine's most prestigious business periodicals, published its "Ukraine's Top 30 Most Successful Attorneys" debut listing of legal professionals in various areas of law, who have won their colleagues' respect and are most reputable among the clients. The top 30 professional attorneys list names five Asters' partners: managing partner Oleksiy Didkovskiy, senior partner Armen Khachaturyan, partners Oleksandr Padalka, Vadym Samoilenko and Igor Svechkar.

Oleksiy Didkovskiy is noted as a corporate and telecommunications law professional. Focus emphasizes his ability to build long-term partnership relations with the clients, particularly international, and has gathered a team of "Ukraine's best lawyers". The legal career of Armen Khachaturyan highlights his "second professional life" - his law degree and work in the United States, which transformed a legal scholar into an attorney. Now the name of Armen Khachaturyan is associated with "the first acquisition of a Ukrainian bank by foreign investor". Focus describes him as a leading banking and finance lawyer in Ukraine, who also provides extensive advice in the capital markets field. While featuring the achievements of Oleksandr Padalka in corporate and intellectual property, Focus notes his long-standing experience and compares his high-level advice with "doctor's diagnoses". Vadym Samoilenko is noted as a successful attorney with a Western education, international experience, advising the biggest global clients in various sectors of economy. Igor Svechkar is named a "resident of Wall Street", the name prompted by a great number of prominent Western corporations among his clients. The publication points out Igor Svechkar's activity and achievements in "high-profile cases" in antitrust law, unfair competition, and M&A.

In this special project Focus for the first time selected best lawyers from among 80 professionals in various areas of law. Only lawyers holding a valid attorney's certificate and actively practicing law were included in the selection. The top 30 list was based on evaluation of professional skills such as understanding of the client's needs and effective problem-solving, development of effective strategy for protecting clients' interests, quality of the documentation prepared by the attorney, litigation skills, and moral character. Expert opinions, which served as the basis for selection, were provided by practicing attorneys, judges, and the Ukrainian Bar Association.
