Asters Partner Speaks at V Annual Corporate Law Forum

On 28 October 2011, Ukrainian Bar Association (UBA) held the V Annual Corporate Law Forum, the venue being organized at the conference hall of Premier Place Hotel in Kyiv. Vadym Samoilenko, a partner with Asters and member of the Board of Ukrainian Bar Association, once again attended the event as a member of the organizing committee and corporate law speaker. Mr. Samoilenko delivered a presentation titled "Paradoxes of the limited liability companies' law and practices" at a session dedicated to such entities.

For the fifth consecutive year, the annual corporate law forum gathers leading lawyers, scholars, businessmen, representatives of the legislative, executive and judicial branches of government for the delivery and professional discussion of Ukrainian corporate law novelties and enforcement thereof, the activities of the State Commission on Securities and Stock Market (SCSSM) in the area of joint-stock companies regulation, corporate disputes resolution, and judicial practices. Leading lawyers from Russia and Georgia also shared their relevant experiences with the audience.
