Asters' Partner Becomes the WSG Aviation Practice Group Head

Asters' Partner Oleksiy Demyanenko has become a head of the newly created Aviation Practice Group within the WSG, a multidisciplinary professional services network of independent law, accounting and investment banking firms. WSG practice groups consolidate professionals practicing in similar areas and facilitate the exchange of business and knowledge about their sectors of expertise.

Oleksiy appreciates the appointment and intends to make a strong emphasis on development of new business opportunities for the group and offer further benefits for the group members' aviation clients.

Mr. Demyanenko regularly handles high profile aviation mandates, advised the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine on implementation of the Cape Town Convention and preparation of the regulations on IDERA and authorization codes, is a member of the European Air Law Association, European Aviation Club and Aviation Advisory Board at the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, contributed to the debut edition of the International Comparative Legal Guide to Aviation Law and the Practitioners' Guide to the Cape Town Convention prepared by the Aviation Working Group, and acted as a local expert for the Cape Town Academic Project, a joint undertaking of Oxford University and the University of Washington.
