Asters Partner Andrew Mac appointed President Volodymyr Zelensky’s non-staff adviser

On 5 November 2019 the Presidential Office of Ukraine published the decree #807/2019 announcing Asters Partner Andrew Mac as a new non-staff adviser to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. Andrew Mac will continue to manage Asters office in Washington D.C. and also will be separately counseling the President's team mainly on diaspora issues. 

"I was deeply inspired  by President Zelensky’s inaugural address  when he referred to Ukrainians as a global community of 65 million and called on the diaspora to re-engage with Ukraine like never before", – comments Andrew Mac. "It's an honor for me to have the opportunity to share with the President my insights and ideas on reinforcing the relationship between the Ukrainian diaspora and the Ukrainian government."

Andrew Mac has more than 20 years of experience in M&A, corporate and competition law, corporate compliance, FCPA/Bribery Act, capital markets and state regulations. As Head of Asters office in the US Andrew Mac assists American companies with all aspects of doing business in Ukraine, and Ukrainian companies with expanding overseas.
