Asters hosted "Private Equity-only: Art, Jazz & Scotch Whiskey-tasting" cultural and business networking event

On 11 November 2010 Asters in cooperation with Ukrainian Society of Investment Professionals CFA Ukraine hosted business networking event "Private Equity – only: Art, Jazz & Scotch Whiskey-tasting" as part of Ukrainian Investment Forum.

The event brought together leading investment professionals, investors, and representatives of commercial and investment banks, including top executives of IFC, EBRD, Horizon Capital, East One, ADM Capital, DCH, Dialog Plus, Europe Virgin Fund (Dragon Capital, PE), ICC, Vertex, Euroventures, KM Core, Kulczyk Investments, P&S Group, Sigma Bleyzer, JSC Smart Holding, TAS and many others. In a warm and friendly atmosphere of Asters' stylish office, attendees had an excellent opportunity for networking, fostering new business relationships and sharing ideas about current investment trends.

In the opening address, Konstantin Magaletskyi of CFA Ukraine Private Equity Committee highlighted the recent concept of Ukrainian Investment Forum and Private Equity receptions. He also emphasized the importance of building local investment professional network among Private Equity experts. In his welcoming introduction, Oleksiy Didkovskiy, Asters' managing partner, hospitably set the tone of the event by introducing Asters and inviting the guests to enjoy the party in the firm's office artistic environment called ArtAsters combining stunning views of downtown Kyiv from the birds' flight elevation, eye-opening professional photos showing beauties of Ukraine and the unique corporate gallery with the current exhibition of expressionist paintings by Oleksiy Malykh.

Overall, apart from business socializing, Asters provided the guests with a rare opportunity of special cultural and gastronomic treats – such as learning more about whiskey drinking culture with tasting selected samples, viewing ArtAsters exhibits and enjoying the delights of relaxing live jazz music.
