Asters expands its ESG expertise

Counsel Marta Halabala has resumed her work at Asters after successful secondment at Arthur Cox, a leading Irish law firm. During her 14-month secondment, she advised leading international energy companies on various legal issues related to the development and construction of wind farms, service and power purchase agreements and the applicability of EU legislation. Marta also dedicated her time to ESG and pro bono initiatives, particularly those supporting Ukrainians seeking refuge in Ireland.

Marta will leverage her extensive international experience to assist Asters' clients in the implementation of projects related to renewable energy, ESG, the energy transition and the European Green Deal.

With over a decade of experience, Marta Halabala has been instrumental in supporting a wide range of energy projects in general and renewable energy, encompassing wind, solar, biogas, conventional generation etc. Her legal expertise in conducting due diligence for various energy projects, greenfield and turnkey acquisitions is beneficial for developers, contractors and lenders.

"As a responsible firm, Asters places a strong emphasis on environmental management, both in its daily operations and client advice. I am delighted to be back and contribute to positive societal change by presenting sustainable development initiatives to our clients and offering comprehensive plans for transforming their businesses into 'green' enterprises. I firmly believe that the demand for such transformations will only increase, especially given Ukraine's post-war green restoration efforts," - comments Marta Halabala.
