Yaroslav Petrov, Counsel at Asters Law Firm, has become one of the authors of Wind Power Plants. Guidelines on the Development and Support of Wind Energy Projects, the first comprehensive manual on the wind energy projects development in Ukrainian language. The guidelines were published with a support of the Ukrainian Wind Energy Association and the All-Ukrainian Energy Assembly.
The guidelines are based on the Ukrainian legislative framework that defines technological aspects for functioning of energy companies. Special attention in the manual is given to the chapter Implementation stages of the wind power energy generating objects construction presenting the step-by-step guidelines for planning and building of wind power plants in Ukraine according to the current legislation.
