Asters advising the International Finance Corporation on USD 75 million financing to Mriya

Asters acts as a legal counsel to the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in connection with an aggregate USD 75 million long-term quasi-equity financing and three-year renewable financing of working capital to one of the largest agro holdings in Ukraine – the Mriya group of companies (in Ternopil region).

The long-term financing will be used for the construction of three grain silos with storage capacity of 100,000 tons each, purchase of farm machinery, and acquisition of lease rights for 165,000 ha of agricultural land, while the three-year facility will be used for working capital. The project will allow expanding Mriya's farming operations and grain storage infrastructure in the Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi and Khmelnitsky regions.
