Asters acted as a legal advisor to the International Finance Corporation (IFC) on a USD 15 million loan facility to PJSC "Credit Europe Bank" (Credit Europe Bank).
The facility will be used on the sustainable energy projects and is aimed at expanding financing of Ukrainian small and medium-sized businesses. As part of the deal, IFC is also planning to advise the bank on its efforts to expand funding of energy efficiency projects in Ukraine.
IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, is the largest global development institution focused exclusively on the private sector. Credit Europe Bank (earlier Finansbank) is controlled by Fiba Holding A.S., one of Turkey's largest financial conglomerates.
Asters' team working on the project was lead by partner Iryna Pokanay and included associates Gabriel Aslanian and Viktoria Zagreba.
