Asters acts as a legal counsel to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in connection with the acquisition of 15% of shares of UkrSibbank, the subsidiary of BNP Paribas Group, for an amount of $82 million.

This is the first EBRD equity investment into a major Ukrainian bank with a diverse client base. This transaction will reinforce EBRD's contribution to the support of the banking sector in Ukraine.

Asters' team working on this project consists of partner Iryna Pokanay and associates Gabriel Aslanian and Yevgen Porada.
