ArtAsters presents Aleksey And’s Associative Symbolism

On 8 December 2016 Asters jointly with the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council held a reception within the ArtAsters project presenting exhibition of Aleksey And, a well-known Ukrainian artist who promotes ‘associative symbolism’ as a special art philosophy and style.

At the opening ceremony Asters' Senior Partner Armen Khachaturyan emphasized: "With its very selective approach to visual art ArtAsters is happy to host Aleksey And's art works which leave a distinct footprint on the vast Ukrainian art land. By all counts Aleksey is different – his style embraces various techniques, materials, and symbols, his creativity always sends a message, but never conclusion. His artistic credo is three dots instead of a period. This open-ended approach to reality seems to be the most adequate reflection of life challenging its stereotypes and provoking dialectical cognitive thinking. After all this is the only way to a true self-comprehension which is timeless and therefore extremely timely."

Morgan Williams, USUBC President, comments: "Such project as ArtAsters is something Ukraine really needs as this initiative has a very special mission introducing Ukrainian art to business as spiritual and creative ground for inspirational business solutions and socializing. In his spectacular artworks Aleksey And deviates from traditional art templates and this is something we might all need in our own life patterns."

The event was traditionally held in Asters' office with near a hundred guests attending, including business managers, diplomats, governmental officers and public figures.
