Yuna Potomkina moderated a discussion at the Estonian-Ukrainian Defence Industry Forum

On 7 April 2025, the Estonian-Ukrainian Defence Industry Forum took place in Kyiv. The event brought together key representatives of defence companies from both countries, government officials and industry experts.

Asters' Partner Yuna Potomkina moderated the meeting of Estonian Minister of Defence Hanno Pevkur, Ukrainian Minister for Strategic Industries Herman Smetanin, Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine Valerii Churkin, representative of the Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration David Aloyan.

During the discussion, the participants outlined the main areas of support that the Ukrainian defence industry and army currently need. They thanked Estonia for cooperation and systematic support, as well as emphasised the importance of long-term partnership within joint ventures, which they see as a platform to exchange technologies, knowledge and achievements.
