Yuna Potomkina and Anton Sintsov presented “Defence Industry Roadmap: A Guide for Foreign Companies in Ukraine”
On 23 July 2026, Asters Partner Yuna Potomkina and Counsel Anton Sintsov presented “Defence Industry Roadmap: a Guide for Foreign Companies in Ukraine,” which they authored for the National Platform for Resilience and Cohesion.
The guide is designed to help foreign companies navigate Ukraine’s legal and regulatory framework, reduce uncertainty, and make informed decisions regarding market entry and investment in the defence sector.
The presentation took place during a meeting organised by the National Platform for Resilience and Cohesion, bringing together representatives of embassies of Ukraine’s partner countries, as well as Ukrainian and international experts in the defence-industrial sector. The event served as a platform to discuss the development of military-technical cooperation as a key driver of Ukraine’s defence capabilities and the growth of its defence industry.
During the discussion, participants:
- examined key Ukrainian innovations in the defence sector and priority areas for international cooperation
- discussed practical mechanisms to accelerate collaboration with international partners
- shared recommendations for foreign companies already operating in or considering entry into the Ukrainian defence market
The “Defence Industry Roadmap: A Guide for Foreign Companies in Ukraine” systematises the core legal and regulatory aspects of entering Ukraine’s defence industry and aims to foster international partnerships, attract investment, and support the implementation of joint projects.
