Yaroslav Petrov moderated the discussion at the pre-briefing for Canadian companies at ReBuild Ukraine in Poland

Asters Partner and Head of London Office Yaroslav Petrov moderated the discussion related to the public-private partnership (PPP) opportunities in Ukraine at the pre-briefing for Canadian companies.

The event, organised by the Government of Canada, took place on 12 November 2024 as part of ReBuild Ukraine in Warsaw, Poland. Participants discussed business opportunities and challenges for Canadian companies during the reconstruction process in Ukraine, namely:

• financial risks of doing business in the country
• initiatives, plans and developments in the energy, renewable energy and infrastructure sectors
• the role of Ukrainian mayors in reconstruction projects
• strategy and partnerships to access the reconstruction market, based on current financial instruments to support public and private investment.
