Oleksiy Uros shared legal updates at the quarterly meeting with the IT Ukraine Association

On 8 April 2025, a quarterly meeting of IT Ukraine Association’s Member Companies with ITU Partner Asters took place, with an aim to discuss the latest developments and the most relevant topics for the Ukrainian tech businesses:

  • amendments to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 76 stating that individuals reserved by other companies will not be included in the total number of military personnel for the purposes of conscription
  • Lobbying Law introducing transparent mechanisms for interaction with government bodies.
  • possible impact on the uninterrupted operation of junior specialists (junior developers) due to mandatory military training for conscripted students.
  • a new approach to the employment of people with disabilities
  • possible impact of the abolition of the Commercial Code on business activities.

The event was moderated by Business Development Director at Asters and Vice President for Legal Affairs at ITU Oleksii Uros and Acting Director of the Advocacy and Development Center of the IT Industry of the IT Ukraine Association Marta Kindrys.

After the meeting, the participants had the opportunity to visit the ArtAsters exhibition SYNCHRO by the prominent Ukrainian photographer Igor Gaidai.
