Oleg Boichuk spoke at the ITU Legal Talks "Office lease: practical tips, martial law and other peculiarities"

Asters Partner Oleg Boichuk spoke at the Legal Talks online meeting "Office lease: practical tips, martial law and other peculiarities" organised by the IT Ukraine Association.

During the presentation, he spoke about reviewing the terms of the lease agreement, developing a negotiating position and elaborating legal arguments, namely:

• the right of a tenant to initiate (demand) a change in the terms and conditions or termination of the lease agreement (what is provided for in the agreement, whether force majeure and other instruments are "work" according to the law)
• refusal to pay and other methods of aggressive negotiations by the tenant (what legal risks arise in this case)
• special conditions for additional services (backup power, shelter arrangement, etc.)
