Larysa Antoshchuk is a speaker at the Liga Zakon webinar on transfer pricing

Asters' Senior Associate Larysa Antoshchuk spoke at the webinar "Integrity of tax authorities in transfer pricing disputes. Experience of taxpayers. Who interprets the International Financial Reporting Standards and how", organised by Liga Zakon.

During the event, the speakers assessed the current practice of interaction between companies and tax authorities in Ukraine, the integrity in the application of the regulations and the approaches of the courts to resolving disputes. Larysa also spoke about:

• the main contentious issues in transfer pricing disputes and the practical challenges during litigation
• preparing the evidence and the importance of proactivity in argumentation
• the legality of on-site tax inspections in 2021
• the amount of the fine and specifics of its calculation

During her presentation, she also pointed out that ‘The situation with transfer pricing in Ukraine is very specific, unlike in other countries, and the conclusions of the Supreme Court, which are available today, can be interpreted by the tax authorities in a completely different way than by business representatives’.
