Inesa Letych spoke at the III UBA Labour Law Forum

Asters' Counsel Inesa Letych spoke at the III Labour Law Forum organised by the Ukrainian Bar Association on 29 November 2024.

She joined the discussion in which the speakers analysed the changes in recruitment and dismissal procedures, as well as the recent changes in reservation and military records. Inesa gave a presentation on mobbing and gave advice on how to resist psychological pressure in the workplace. The presentation in Ukrainian is available here.

During the event, participants had the opportunity to share their experiences, learn more about the latest trends, and discuss topical issues in the field of labour law, namely:

• how to tackle the problem of staff shortages and whether the involvement of foreigners, retraining, and re-profiling will help to solve it
• what the main changes to the Labour Code are and how they will affect the work of companies and their employees
• what is the current court practice in labour disputes, especially in relation to the jurisdiction of disputes involving the head of the company, dismissal of managers and bringing them to responsibility
