Asters gave lectures at the corporate training program for KERNEL lawyers as part of the Legal High School

Asters' lawyers gave lectures to the lawyers of KERNEL agricultural holding as part of the Legal High School educational platform arranged by the Yuridicheskaya Practika publishing.  

During the lectures, the participants had the opportunity to receive practical advice and learn more about antitrust legislation, English contract law and tax audits, namely:

• Partner Oleksandr Voznyuk spoke about the AMCU's methodological developments in the area of protection against unfair competition, the requirements for concerted actions and obtaining merger clearance. He also explained the procedure for obtaining merger clearance and the phases of antitrust investigations. The speaker analysed current court practice in disputes with the AMCU.
• Counsel Maksym Tereshchuk began his presentation on English contract law with its basic principles. He also spoke about the key stages of structuring M&A transactions and why English contract law concepts are chosen for them. He also gave practical advice on the execution and implementation of contracts under English law.
• Senior Associate Larysa Antoshchuk explained how to prepare for a tax audit, what algorithm to follow during the audit and in which cases it is possible to appeal its results. She also explained the nuances of tax audits for VAT refund claims and unfair counterparties audits.
