Olga has extensive capital markets, banking, finance, project finance and energy law experience including working as a partner in leading Ukrainian law firms for more than 12 years, having represented Ukrainian and international clients in high-profile deals, including having acted for the Ministry of Finance in relation to the sovereign bond issuances, the NJSC “Naftogas of Ukraine” and other state-owned Ukrainian companies, international and local banks and corporations in relation to various types of capital raising transactions. 

In the energy practice Olga has been actively advising on licensing, permits, subsoil usage rights, negotiation and drafting of joint investment activity agreements, contractor service agreements, production sharing agreements and cross-border investment schemes. Some of the historic deals include: 

  • Naftogaz of Ukraine on most of their foreign borrowings, including bilateral and syndicated loan facilities, debut Eurobond issuance, complex USD 1.6 billion debt restructuring;
  • Activ Solar as developer and the Ukrainian borrowers on all Ukrainian law aspects of the heavily secured project ­financing arranged by VTB Capital for the construction of the solar energy park in Crimea, Ukraine.
