  • Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan UK LLP, lead counsel acting for the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, in connection with court proceedings in the High Court of Justice in London commenced by the Trustee, The Law Debenture Trust Corporation, against Ukraine regarding its alleged debt under 3 billion USD bonds purportedly issued by Ukraine in 2013 and 100% taken up by the Russian Federation, and ensuing appeal proceedings. Asters is acting as the local Ukrainian counsel in this matter;
  • JSC Oschadbank, one of the largest financial institutions in the country, in connection with its claim against the Russian Federation for the recovery of over 1 billion USD in compensation as a result of the total loss of its investments in Crimea, culminating in international tribunal's final award sustaining Oschadbank's claim in full. Asters acted as the local Ukrainian counsel in this matter, with Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP acting as the lead counsel;
  • Telenor in connection with its majority shareholding in a leading Ukrainian mobile operator Kyivstar:
